Presented here, a spacious, Victorian mahogany Duchess dressing table
Artisan hand painted in our timeless, in-house ‘French Ash Grey’ before being heavily aged in our unique ‘timeworn’ BB signature antique finish.

With a pleasing ‘rough luxe’ vibe, this gorgeous statement dressing table features an elegant moulded swing mirror frame, with a richly carved central shell top (its original mercury mirror plate showing a few very slight areas of ‘foxing’ although nothing at all major, and for an original, late Victorian antique, only adding to its overall rustic appeal.

With central shell cresting to richly in carved supports and fitted with a series of 6 bijou jewellery drawers (making ideal storage for make up and brushes). The original mercury mirror plate showing slight areas of ‘foxing’, although nothing at all too major, and only adding to its overall appeal.

Having a elegant curvilinear figured mahogany top with 2 central frieze drawers all fitted with original brass handles.

All raised upon front finely figured turns fluted legs, united by an incurved under tier and turned fluted columns.

Artisan painted, in a hand mixed shade of timeless 'French Ash Grey' - made to our own, unique BB recipe - this mid-charcoal grey is comparable in tone to F&B's 'Dove Tale' - think timeless, 'provincial French' you will get the idea!

Another of our 'perfect neutrals' - drawing on a palette inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

All of the above before finally being aged, using 'specialist artisan
techniques' - all of which go to provide the painted woodwork with a most divine, 'timeworn' antique finish.

With plenty of 'handsome depth to its finish, it will appeal to those of you who, (if like me), appreciate and embrace the look of authentic 'imperfection' in their 'painted' pieces of furniture!
The finished piece now striking a perfect balance between the 'formal' and 'informal' - the 'elegant' and the 'rustic'.
