Three Door Mahogany Sideboard

It was George Hepplewhite who wrote, in 1788, that 'furniture should unite elegance and utility and blend the useful with the agreeable' and this exquisite and highly pleasing, Mid-Century, mahogany dresser sideboard clearly echoes that sentiment.

Being a generously proportioned, mid-century, three drawer, three door piece - finely crafted from from solid, mahogany and raised on a pleasing stepped plinth base.
Internally, with each of its three cabinets housing a single shelf.
Complete with three working keys.

A fine, 'clean line' design, having a spacious, rectangular top, with three concealed drawers above three doors, each displaying classic arch panel moldings, further complimented by handsome, acanthus leaf corbels, making for a most functional and enduring piece of 'classically' designed English furniture.

This 'French Ash Grey' - created to our own unique recipe - being close in colour to F&B's 'Dovetale' (although after ageing a tone or so darker). Another offering from our classic palette of classic key 'neutrals' - created for their timeless appeal.
Each of which, having been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

All of the above being achieved before applying our unique, in-house, BB artisan ageing techniques, - now finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of rustic French Country Style pieces.
