Slim-line Antique Mirrored Armoire

This exquisite Edwardian, single door, mirrored oak wardrobe is of English origin.
Of slim-line proportions, and standing on a handsome plinth base, to bracket feet.

A striking, well--crafted, antique piece; having a deep cornice and featuring for handsome geometric paneling, with pretty beading accents.

Internally, the piece configured with two, perpendicular hanging rails - which comfortably take a standard sized coat hanger.

Below, its base having of a good-sized, single drawer.

With the exception of some very light, localised foxing to the mirror, the piece remains in super working order.
Splitting into three, manageable sections, for ease of transportation.

Due to is somewhat dainty proportions, for me, it presents for another, pretty choice, for a tasteful, elegantly designed child's bedroom, or equally, ideal as a hugely handsome and highly functional piece, for a guestroom.

Painted in a hand mixed shade of restful 'Ash Grey' - that has been made to our own, unique, BB recipe - which is comparable in tone to F&B's 'Dovetale'.
This being another of our 'perfect neutrals' - that have, in each instance been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire countryside, where we live.

All of the above before finally being aged using 'specialist artisan techniques' - all of which go to provide the woodwork with a most divine, aged patination. Finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of traditional French and Gustavian antique pieces.

With plenty of 'rough texture' to its finish, it will appeal to those of you who, (if like me), appreciate and embrace the look of authentic 'imperfection' in their painted pieces of furniture!
