Richly Carved Pretty Gustavian Grey Antique Oak Single Door Hall Robe

This really pretty, unusually designed, early Edwardian antique hall piece, crafted from English Oak.
With plenty of handsome carved accents to both its frontage, and elegant 'canted' sides.
Having a lovely panelled single door, below a classic dentil cornice.
Its door retaining original wooden turned peg lock and handsome large brass hinges..

Further complimented by a combination of floral carved and linen fold accents to it canted sides.
Internally, the back panel fitted with a number of brass coat pegs. However, if ideally wishing to utilise for linens, or other storage, we could, for a small surcharge, create, and fit the internals with a series of bespoke shelves.

It would, originally have been crafted to work as a bijou hall cloak cupboard, although being a versatile design, it would be equally suited to work as a beautiful wardrobe for a child's nursery, or guest bedroom. So also happy to fit the piece with a standard hanging rail, if so required.

Finally, we also think that it would also be a super to work as fab. utility cupboard; ideal to hide away, brooms, vacuum, mops etc.

Colour wise, artisan painted in our in-house Belle Biche, timeless soft 'Gustavian Grey'.
This mix is close in tone to F&B’s ‘Dimpse’ although with a warmer undertone, which pulls slightly cooler, and is a little blue depending on the light, and time of day.

All of the above achieved, before applying our unique, Belle Biche specialist 'ageing techniques' and finished in a manner that remains the 'very cornerstone' of rustic French and Gustavian antique provincial pieces.
