Richly Carved Antique Breakfront Sideboard

We are pleased to be offering for sale, this recently completed, hugely ornate antique, sideboard.
A large and handsome piece, of English origin, crafted from fine mahogany.
With a deep plinth base and raised on pleasing, bun feet.

Having three, spacious, central drawers (with beautiful, elaborate brass drawer pulls) flanked by two side cabinets, each of which, having richly carved, ornate door panels.
Further complimented by handsome reeded corbels.

This piece comes with all its original hardware.

Colourwise, artisan painted, in a hand mixed shade of timeless 'French Ash Grey' - made to our own, unique BB recipe - this mid-charcoal grey is comparable in tone to F&B's 'Dovetale' although after ageing, is a tad or two darker in tone - think timeless, 'provincial French' and you will get the idea!

After painting, the piece has then been aged, using our own, in-house BB 'specialist artisan ageing techniques' - lending the wood with wonderfully authentic, 'timeworn' feel. & wonderful patina.
With plenty of divine and appealing, 'weathered' depth and 'texture' to its finish.
