New French Stock….Crafted from fine oak, this exquisite French piece displaying for elaborate richly carved relief of the panelling and drawer fronts, which feature regal motifs of fleur de lis and tassels, and leafy stems, amidst an intricate composition of scrolls.
The piece raised on slender cabriole legs ending in hoof feet Its fall front upper compartment folds down to create a writing surface, internally revealing for a combination of pigeon holes and two bijou drawers, ideal for papers and stationary. When not in use, the lid closes with an original key, keeping personal correspondence safely locked away.
Below, a further two drawers, displaying fine floral carved accents to an elegant scalloped apron.
