Of English origin, this beautifully crafted, oak wardrobe provides for a practical combination of both 'hanging', and shelving 'storage'.

Standing on a pretty plinth base, to bracket feet and displaying some exquisite carving detail to its two, panelled doors, this ornate, late Edwardian oak wardrobe makes for a most handsome piece of bedroom furniture - making for a lovely decorative piece for a children's bedroom or nursery.

Offering for a super internal configuration - featuring a full width upper shelf, which sits above its two storage compartments.
The left-hand side, fitted with horizontal hanging rail - which comfortably accommodates for a 'standard' size coat hanger.
Its right hand compartment, configured with five, good-sized fixed shelves.

Internally, the right hand door is also fitted with a very handy, fixed facial mirror. The mirror does display some slight foxing, adding for lovely authentic antique depth.

The piece comes complete with its handsome, original ironware, and a working key.

Of a relatively 'low' height, this striking little Edwardian piece would make a particularly good choice for a cottage bedroom; to work in the eaves - where a 'sloping', low ceiling height may be a factor of consideration.

Painted in a hand mixed shade of timeless ' French Ash Grey' - made to our own, unique BB recipe - this mid-charcoal grey is comparable in tone to F&B's 'Dove Tale' - think timeless, 'provincial French' you will get the idea!

Another of our 'perfect BB neutrals' - drawing on a palette inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

All of the above before finally being aged, using 'specialist artisan techniques' - all of which go to provide the painted woodwork with a most divine, 'textured' patina - finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of antique, French painted pieces.

With plenty of depth and 'texture' to its finish, it will appeal to those of you who, (if like me), appreciate, and embrace the look of authentic 'imperfection' in their 'painted' pieces of furniture!
