Presented here a large, late 19th Century Mahogany Dresser Base / Morning Sideboard.
A handsome, English, Edwardian piece having a solid mahogany inverted top, above a shaped cushion drawer.
Below are two, raised 'arch panel' doors, which open to reveal a single shelf.
Flanked beautifully by decorative carved corbels.
All raised on a classic, deep, plinth base. The edging of base does have a couple of localised, very minor knocks visible, although nothing that at all detracts from the overall beauty of the piece.
All in all, making for a highly handsome, 'heavily (artisan) aged' solid piece of antique English furniture - finished in our classic, mid-tone, French Ash Grey. Comes complete with working key.
This 'French Ash Grey' - created to our own unique recipe - being close in colour to F&B's 'Dovetale'. It is another offering from our classic range of 'neutrals' - created for their timeless appeal. Each of which having been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.
All of the above being achieved before applying our unique, in-house, BB artisan ageing techniques, - now finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of rustic French Country Style pieces.
