Although with no great age to them, this handsome, solid pine set of chests display both fab. rustic, 'provincial' style, combined with super, generous bedroom storage.
Comprising of a lovely, two over four, large chest, and a matching 5-drawer, slim-line 'Lingerie Chest'.
Each piece well-crafted from solid pine, with lovely T&G side paneling and drawer bases.
The pair given really lovely depth and interest by means of handsome 'turned column' supports.
All raised on a handsome plinth base, with large classic Victorian style, turned pulls.
With all drawers running fine & smooth.
Artisan painted in one of our trademark BB greys - this time, a restful, soft light Gustavian grey - the pieces now demonstrating lots of timeworn depth and texture to their finish.
All of the above before finally being aged, using 'specialist artisan techniques' - all of which go to provide the painted woodwork with a most divine, 'textured' finish.
