Hugely handsome, classically designed mid-century, 6-drawer, 2 over 4, chest commode.
With appealing Gustavian style, this spacious chest raised on a handsome, stepped plinth base.

Having a lovely rectangular moulded top, below two concealed, upper drawers - each lined with baize.
Below, 4 large spacious drawers, each displaying classic, swan neck brass handles.

Colour wise, artisan painted in our in-house Belle Biche, timeless 'Gustavian Grey'.
This mix is close in tone to F&B’s ‘Dimpse’ although with a warmer undertone, which pulls slightly cooler and is a little blue depending on the light, and time of day.

This being another of our classic, 'neutrals' from our select range of Belle Biche colours - which have, in each instance been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls, which divide the breath-taking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

All of the above achieved, before applying our unique, Belle Biche specialist 'ageing techniques'- and finished in a manner that remains the 'very cornerstone' of rustic French and Gustavian antique country pieces.
