Presented here, an exquisite English, reproduction yew wood escritoire – artisan painted in timeless Gustavian Style.
A slimline single door piece, raised on classic ogee bracket feet, to a scalloped apron.
With fine, neoclassical, Georgian features, displaying a beautiful domed top, flanked by finials.
The upper bookcase having a glazed, single door; with working key, which opens to reveal for a single, adjustable shelf.

Its central, fall front lowers to provide for a spacious writing surface, with a series of handy pigeon holes, plus two, sweet, bijou drawers.
Again, complete with working key.

Further handy storage is provided in the lower section, which offer for four, graduating drawers - each having classic, ‘swan neck’ handles, and being of good, practical size
The four drawer flanked by handsome, turned column supports.

Its fine, neoclassical features being further enhanced by the externals being artisan hand painted in our timeless 'Gustavus Grey', which compliments the internal 'ecru tones' of our Derbyshire Stone splendidly well.

All of the above achieved before being 'aged' using our own unique BB 'specialist artisan techniques' - which lend the painted woodwork with a most divine, 'aged' patina - finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of antique French and Gustavian works.
