English Art Deco Tallboy

Raised on fine turned feet, this utterly exquisite Art Deco tallboy remains a wonderful example of exquisitely crafted and versatile, antique English furniture.
Displaying a multitude of delightful features, the cupboard would make a striking accent piece to any room where stylish storage was required.

Its upper section houses a spacious, full height storage cupboard, enclosed by two doors - each of which displaying for some magnificently rich carving detail. Its upper section, flanked by handsome turned baluster columns.
Below, there is a two door, base cupboard; to the the right hand side, having three drawers, plus shelf.
And, to the left, further benefiting from two additional shelves.

It is also worth pointing out that there is a hanging rail still present to the left hand side of the piece, which to my mind, would also make for an exquisite piece of nursery furniture - that could later be utilized as a regular 'linen piece'.

Crafted from mahogany, the piece has been artisan painted in a hand-mixed shade of our 'Ash Grey' - another of our perfect 'neutrals' that have in each instance been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

All of our pieces are finished using specialist artisan techniques - in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of rustic French and Gustavian provincial-style furniture.
