With all the hallmarks of English Colonial Style, this capacious, 8 drawer reproduction chest presents for both plentiful storage, coupled with handsome, classic lines.
Having pleasing geometric, frontage, its 8 drawers flanked by reeded column supports, and richly carved corbles.
Artisan painted in our dramatic, BB 'Parisian Black', the set having a spacious, rectangular top with carved gadroon molding, above a 2 over 4 set of drawers - with its upper two drawers fitted pretty, 'pear drop' handles.
Below, its additional six, displaying classic, Georgian style, 'pierced' backplate pulls.
A very solid and substantial, contemporary chest, raised on large squat bun feet, and crafted from solid wood.
Although not super old, the set does display areas of 'faux' woodworm holes - which are often commonplace, in such 'contemporary' designs, - created to provide for 'greater' timeworn depth, so do please rest assured the piece is in fine condition throughout, with no signs of any real vers à bois!
With all 8 drawers running fine and smooth.
