A well crafted piece, of English origin, dating from the Edwardian period.
Having a pleasing, panel sides and original backboard.
Its handsome, single door is of panel design flanked by reeded accents and featuring pretty floral carved accents to the top.
All raised on a classic plinth base, to bracket feet.
Complete with its original brass hardware and working key.
The interior of the piece features a single shelf - making an ideal space for millinery.
Below, several, fixed brass hanging pegs, and fitted with a brass apex hanging rail, which comfortable accommodates for a standard, large hangar.
Originally intended to stand in a hallway, its versatile design, could also allow for it to be utilised in a guestroom, and too, equally as a fine compact piece for children's bedroom, or nursery.
Or alternatively, with the addition of bespoke shelving (which we could accommodate to create and fit, for a small additional surcharge) it would also be suitable to work as a handsome linen piece.
