Standing on pretty 'toupie' feet, this hugely handsome, traditionally crafted English, C. 19th mahogany Low Dresser Sideboard is of generous proportions.
A quality figured mahogany 'rough luxe' piece - with a pleasing inverted breakfront design.
Offering a fine combination of spacious storage, rustic-elegance and plenty of 'rough luxe' appeal.
A spacious intervened breakfront top rests above three, large central drawers - each with large, pretty turned pulls.
More welcome storage is provided by two, beautiful concealed drawers, which rest above its two, well-proportioned side cabinets - each opening to reveal for a single shelf.
This antique Victorian piece has been very favorably priced for both its exquisite design, and generous proportions, due to it having each of its sides, showing a very light parting (please see image 10).
This, where to the two side panels meet. This imperfection is purely 'cosmetic' - so it does not affect the 'overall functionality' of the piece, in any manner.
For the rest, this fine antique piece remains a fine example of quality crafted. English furniture, complete with a working key.
Colourwise, artisan 'French Painted' in a hand-mixed shade of timeless, 'Gustavian Grey' - created to our own, unique, BB recipe - being close in colour to F&B's 'Dimpse'.
It is another offering from our classic 'neutral' range of colours - created for their timeless, enduring appeal.
Each of which, having been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breath taking Derbyshire landscape where we live.
All of the above being achieved before applying our own, in-house, specialist artisan ageing techniques - and finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of rustic French Country Style pieces.
