Bijou French Oak Two Door ‘Placard’

With handsome carving detail to its two cupboard doors, this most sweet, mid century, French Cabinet provides both grace and practicality,

Crafted from oak , the piece comprising of a two door cupboard. Internally housing a single shelf.
Its lower base providing for a shallow single drawer.
All pleasingly raised on Louis XV cabriole scroll legs, ending in peg feet.
Complete with all original ironware.

Finally, a small, circular hole (which we would imagine had been made for electrical cables) has, at some stage, been created to the back board of the piece - making the cabinet 'particularity' good to utilise as a 'media' storage piece.

A most versatile and compact piece, that would provide a handsome space for linens, bathroom storage, or equally, it would be suited to utilise as a sweet little storage piece to place in a child's nursery, or a guest bedroom.

Artisan painted in a hand-mixed shade of our dark tone 'Chamoisee' - created to our own, unique Belle Biche recipe - being close in colour to F&B's 'Charleston Grey'.
With a glorious variation of depth and time-worn texture to the painted wood.

All of the above being achieved, before applying our unique, Belle Biche, in-house, artisan ageing techniques - the piece finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of rustic French Country Style pieces.
