Of rare design, this utterly exquisite, antique Edwardian, oak ' plank top' sideboard remains a most beautiful example of quality crafted, antique, English furniture.

A most enjoyable oak piece - handsomely raised on a H-bar stretcher base, united by pleasing turned legs.
Its frontage, displaying some very pretty, vertical carving accents.

The piece is further enhanced by a fabulous, crisply carved scroll apron plus a decorative fixed gallery, that carries some crisp, and highly attractive nautical carvings.

Having a two door cupboard, doors opening to full height storage, the piece further complimented by a wonderfully deep, single drawer.
Internally, with a fine paneled interior.
Complete with all original brass hardware.

An exquisite key accent piece that would be suited to work in any number of rooms.

Colour-wise, artisan, hand painted in our timeless 'Derbyshire Stone' - being a classic tone of light, natural 'ecru' - synonymous with French and Gustavian pieces from times long gone by.
For further guidance on the colour - the mix being close in tone to F&B's 'Clunch'.

After painting, the piece has then been aged, using our own, in-house BB 'specialist artisan ageing techniques' - lending the piece with wonderfully authentic, 'timeworn' feel.
With plenty of divine and appealing, 'weathered' depth and texture' to its finish, it will appeal to those of you who, (if like me) appreciate and embrace the look of authentic 'imperfection' in their painted pieces of furniture!
