Antique Arts & Crafts 6 Drawer ‘French Ash Grey’ Chest of Drawers

Presented here a fabulous, generously proportioned, antique English 'Arts & Crafts' Chest of Drawers.
With handsome carved frontage.

This pleasing antique set crafted from fine mahogany.
Having a spacious rectangular, stepped top, to a beautiful, fixed back gallery, displaying wonderfully handsome floral carvings.
With a lovely scalloped apron and sides to bracket feet.
With a total of 6, graduating drawers, the piece offers for both generous storage, and too, fabulous grace and elegance.

With the exception of one of its original, copper drawer pulls having at some point in the past, been replaced from the upper left hand drawer, this fine example of beautifully crafted English furniture remains in excellent antique condition.

To be honest, it is hardly noticeable, unless being aware - and it certainly does not, in manner affect the overall handsomeness of this beautiful chest of drawers.

Colourwise, artisan painted, in a hand mixed shade of our timeless in-house, 'French Ash Grey' - which is made to our own, unique BB recipe - this mid-charcoal grey is comparable in tone to F&B's 'Dove Tale'.

Another of our 'perfect neutrals' - drawing on a palette inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

All of the above achieved before being 'aged' using our unique in-house, 'specialist artisan techniques' - finished in our classic, BB 'signature finish'.
All of which, lending the painted woodwork with a most divine, 'aged' patination - finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of antique French and Gustavian works.
