Height: 96 cm at surface to 100 cm at gallery top
Length: 153 cm
Depth: 48 cm at sides, to 58 cm at centre
Of English origin, presented here, an elegant, 1920's Oak Sideboard.
With pleasing canted frontage this compact Jacobean Style piece offering for some super, practical storage.
Its two deep central drawers, flanked by single cupboards, with geometric panel doors.
With each cupboard internally configured with a single shelf.
The piece raised on a lovely stretcher base to barley twist supports.
All drawers and doors retaining their original brass pear drop handles and hardware.
Colourwise, artisan, hand painted in our timeless 'Derbyshire Stone' - being a classic tone of light, natural ecru - synonymous with French and Gustavian pieces from times long gone by.
For further guidance on the colour - the mix being close in tone to F&B's 'Clunch'.
After painting, the piece has then been aged, using our own, in-house BB 'specialist artisan ageing techniques' - lending the piece with wonderfully authentic, 'timeworn' feel.
With plenty of divine and appealing,' 'weathered' depth and texture' to its finish, it will appeal to those of you who, (if like me) appreciate and embrace the look of authentic 'imperfection' in their painted pieces of furniture!
