This hugely fine, late Edwardian sideboard is of English origin.
Crafted from fine oak, which takes 100-200 years to reach maturity, the design you are looking at is beautiful 'antique piece of art' in wood!

With great proportions, and displaying some exquisitely figured timbers and crisply carved moldings.
The fine English sideboard stands on a pleasing, stretcher base, having turned cup and cover legs, with richly carved scroll and foliage detail.
Having a deep, spacious canted top, with lovely 'central carving' to its fixed gallery back providing for a spacious display space.

The piece, having three central drawers. The top and base drawers are super deep, proving for lots of space.
Its shallower, central drawer, with beautiful foliage carvings and internally fitted with 3, green baize drawer dividers.

Flanked by two deep cabinets, each configured with a spacious, single shelf.
Each with exquisite central carved motif, and very pretty antique, brass drop handles.
The piece also comes with it original working key.

Artisan painted, in a hand mixed shade of our timeless in-house, 'French Ash Grey' - which is made to our own, unique BB recipe - this mid-charcoal grey is tone or two darker than F&B's 'Dove Tale' - think timeless, 'provincial French' and you will get the idea!

Another of our 'perfect neutrals' - drawing on a palette inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

All of the above before finally being aged, using 'specialist artisan
techniques' - all of which go to provide the painted woodwork with a most divine, 'textured' finish.

With plenty of 'attractive depth' to its finish, it will appeal to those of you, who, (if like me), appreciate and embrace the look of authentic 'imperfection' in their 'painted' pieces of furniture!
