Antique Flemish ‘Hand Painted’ Side Cabinet

Presented here, a hugely appealing, antique Flemish Side Cabinet.
This really handsome, 'paired back' piece crafted from continental fruit-wood, and providing for masses of handsome, rough luxe appeal.

With versatile storage, it would be suited to work in a number of storage rolls.

Featuring a pretty rectangular top, with sweet gallery back and flanked by lovely turned, scroll handles - which would, if wishing to utilise in a cottage kitchen or bathroom space be great for hanging some pretty linen towels.

A central (and smooth running) drawer, with a large, prettily carved 'foliage' pull dominates the central section - whist below, there is a two door cabinet its doors opening to reveal for a single shelf.

In terms of condition, although fully sound and solid, we will point out that there are two, small sections of missing trim to the right hand door, alongside a missing section of the escutcheon, the the same, r/h cupboard door, however having mentioned these for matters of transparency, non of which detract from the overall beauty and appeal of what is a very pleasing continental antique cabinet.

The cabinet also comes with a pretty, ornate brass key, which acts as a door pull.

Colourwise, artisan 'French Painted' in a hand-mixed shade of timeless, ' Gustavian Grey' - created to our own, unique BB recipe - and being close in colour to F&B's 'Dimpse'.

Each of which, having been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we now live.
