As with all our pieces, the piece has been artisan painted, in one of our own unique, hand-mixed classic range of select colours - this time, our timeless 'French Ash Grey' - a cool shade of mid-tone grey, which will effortlessly balance with both a neutral, or more earthy darker backdrop.

This colour standing mid-way in tone between F&B's ' 'Dovetail and 'Charleston Grey'. Being another offering from our select in-house palette - each of which, having been inspired by the earthy tones of the magnificent dry stone walls that dot the breath taking Derbyshire countryside, where we live.

All of the above being achieved before applying our specialist artisan ageing techniques - and finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of antique, 'Gustavian Style painted' pieces.
