Crafted from fine oak, and finished in our timeless in-house ‘Gustavian Grey’, before being artisan aged in our unique BB, timeworn antique ‘signature finish’, this hugely handsome, antique British crafted and designed Art Deco, 1930’s Gent’s compactum remains in fine working order.
A well-proportioned piece, raised on a plinth base. its ‘clean line’, design given lovely depth and interest by means of handsome deco style fretwork to each of its two large pleasing doors.
Internally with a central apex hanging section, which accommodates perfectly for a standard adult size coat hanger. Flanked by generously proportioned shelved side compartments - each featuring a handy central drawer,
Having a fitted shoe rack to the central base.
Further complimented by a full length vanity mirror and complete with its original brass hardware.
With its pleasing clean lines it would be equally suited to function as a handsome wardrobe for either nursery, child's, or guest bedroom.
Or alternatively, to work in a hallway, as fine 'accent' cloak/robe cupboard.
Artisan 'French Painted' in a hand-mixed shade of timeless, 'Gustavian Grey' - created to our own, unique BB recipe. This mix is close in tone to F&B’s ‘Dimpse’ although with a warmer undertone, which pulls slightly cooler and is a 'little' blue depending on light, and time of day.
Being another offering from our classic 'neutral' range of colours - each created for their timeless, enduring appeal. All of which, having been inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry stone walls that divide the breath taking Derbyshire landscape ,where we live.
All of the above being achieved before applying our specialist artisan ageing techniques - and finished in a manner that remains the very cornerstone of rustic antique French & Gustavian Style pieces.
