Striking a perfect balance between the 'formal' and 'informal' - the 'elegant' and the 'rustic', this exquisite, mid century, English, George III Style piece, crafted from fine English yew.

With handsome, clean lines, this well proportioned display piece carries classic Georgian features.

Featuring a fine 'dentil' stepped cornice, which sits above a decorative, twin astragal glazed doors - opening to reveal for three, adjustable shelves - making an ideal space for crystal glasses, or books - the choice is yours!

Further complimented by two central drawers, displaying classic, brass, 'swan neck; pulls, which rest above a two door cabinet, to base - internally configured with a adjustable, single shelf.
All raised on a beautiful scalopped plinth base, to bracket feet.

The piece complete with working key, and all original brass hardware.

Artisan painted, in a hand mixed shade of timeless 'French Ash Grey' - made to our own, unique BB recipe - this mid-charcoal grey is comparable in tone to F&B's 'Dovetale' - think timeless, 'provincial French' you will get the idea!

All of the above, before finally being aged, using our own, unique 'specialist artisan ageing techniques' - all of which go to provide the painted woodwork with a most divine, 'textured' 'patina.
Another of our 'perfect neutrals' - drawing on a palette, inspired by the varied hues of the magnificent dry-stone walls, that divide the breathtaking Derbyshire landscape, where we live.

With plenty of 'depth of texture' to its finish, this fine, English display piece will appeal to those of you who (if like me) appreciate and embrace the look of authentic 'imperfection' in their 'painted' pieces of furniture!
