This sweet, reproduction, George III Style 'fall front' Bonheur du Jour has been 'French Painted' in our sophisticated, 'Parisian Noir' - before being artisan aged on our unique, BB signature finish.
Delicate gilding to its hardware, further accentuates what is a handsomely attractive little desk!
This pleasing piece, crafted from mahogany wood and raised on four, slim, tapered legs.
Having a raised, upper shelf, above three small, shallow central drawers, flanked by 2 pigeon holes, with turned column supports.
With fall front writing surface, the piece further complimented by 2 shallow drawers to base.
A compact, and highly attractive, Georgian Style Bonheur du Jour - which, to our mind, would probably be best suited to act as a handsome 'display', in a hallway on landing space. Or equally, to pop into a small, cottage, sitting room space, to utilise as a sweet, little drinks / side table. As we, do, ourselves find that its 'fall front' writing surface, is somewhat on the 'compact side' for it to 'fully' function as a working surface space!
Although, it would, perhaps be fine, if working with a tablet device, or simply, with good, old fashioned, pen and ink!
